    Heavy-Duty & Diesel Repair: what the visit covers

    Diesel engine diagnostics and repair

    Fault codes, live data and mechanical checks are worked through at your terminal to find the actual cause, not just the light. Repairs proceed once the findings and the quote are agreed.

    Air brake service

    Chamber, slack adjuster, valve and line work plus pushrod stroke measurement on air-braked units. Brakes are verified before the truck is released back to dispatch.

    PM programs for Class 6-8 units

    Intervals are set by duty cycle and load, not a single mileage number for the whole yard. Each PM logs fluid, filter, brake, tire and undercarriage condition against the VIN.

    DOT annual inspections

    Federally certified inspectors perform the 49 CFR 396 annual on heavy units at your location. Documentation goes straight into your safety file.

    Suspension and steering on heavy units

    Leaf springs, bushings, torque rods, drag links and king pins are handled on-site. Alignment work is set on Hunter alignment equipment.

    Tractor and trailer tires

    Steer, drive and trailer positions are serviced in the same dispatch, with national-account pricing through Michelin, Goodyear, Bridgestone and Continental. Casings are tracked for retread.

      Findings are quoted before the repair continues. A lift job is scheduled into the shop instead.

      Air system and brake performance are checked, then the result is filed against the VIN.
