Brake Fluid Flush: what the visit covers
Complete system flush
Old fluid is pushed out at every wheel until clean fluid runs through, not just topped off at the reservoir. Partial flushes leave the contaminated fluid where it does the damage.
DOT-approved brake fluid
Fluid matches the DOT 3 or DOT 4 specification called out for the vehicle. Mixing specifications lowers the boiling point and is avoided.
Moisture content testing
We test moisture before and after so the flush interval is set on data, not a guess. The reading is recorded against the VIN.
Brake line inspection
Hard lines, flex hoses, and fittings are checked for corrosion, chafe, and weeping. New England road salt makes this the most common hydraulic finding we report.
ABS system bleeding
The ABS module is bled with a scan tool where the system requires it. Skipping that step leaves air trapped where a manual bleed cannot reach.
Performance verification
Pedal travel and firmness are checked, then confirmed on a road test. Brake work carries a warranty.
